You'd be forgiven for thinking this was a scene from Dante's 'Inferno'. It's actually shot in Dali's Hole, an open pit in Dinorwig Quarry, in one of the fairly rare times that it drains completely. It was a complete mudbath down there, although the wire wool illuminated the dead trees nicely. While we were shooting, it started to rain, hence the orange spots on the lens. I really liked the effect!
